On May 18, Dr. Petr Vanek, President of EANS (European Association of Neurosurgery) and professor of Czech Central Military Hospital, and his companions came to our hospital for a visit and academic exchange. Dean Li Xugui led the orthopedic team of our hospital to warmly receive the experts.

After the consultation discussion, Dr. Petr Vanek gave an academic lecture on "Techniques and Key Points of Complex cervical spine Surgery under the Microscope" in the conference room on the 16th floor of the hospital, and shared his experience in several cases. Subsequently, the doctors of our hospital selected several surgical cases of spinal diseases and had an academic discussion with Dr. Petr Vanek. The active speeches of the doctors brought the discussion to a climax. Dr. Petr Vanek also fully shared his diagnosis and treatment ideas, and affirmed the spirit of excellence and academic enthusiasm of doctors in our hospital.

This international orthopaedic academic exchange activity not only broadened the vision of orthopaedic professionals and technicians of our hospital, master the latest international concepts, but also promoted the progress of orthopedics of our hospital, injected new vitality into the academic development of orthopedics of our hospital, and laid a solid foundation for the establishment of a tertiary orthopaedic hospital of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in 672 Hospital.
